For those of you who don't know me in real life...I stopped striving to fit in some time ago. And since I have been using The Lorax and Horton Hears a Who to teach some of the themes in Sunday School I thought it was time to do a little Mrs. Frizzle Act and wear the clothes to go with the story!
In this case I was testing the Pattern's for Pirates Ladies Raglan Add-on Patterns but it was my first time making the raglan too. I love it! Of course, I really started sewing clothes that were knits so this was right up my alley...
I matched up the cowl with my Cat In The Hat shirt and the ruched funnel cowl with my tunic. I wear them both all the time. The tunic looks nice and is comfort clothing at it's finest...sigh...
